Hi everybody! I'm new to this Wiki. My name is Narelle and I want to be a writer when I'm older. Let me tell you some things about myself:
I want to write realistic fiction novels when I'm grown up. I spend my time- when I'm not at school, that is- writing novels. When I was in second grade, I wrote a 60-page novel for a school assignment about children meeting goblins and going to a fantasy world. Mind you, the assignment wasn't to write 60 pages, we were only supposed to write two, but if you're like me, once you start writing, new ideas just start coming and coming and you can't stop! I've since abandoned that book, and I'm currently working on a novel called 'New Life', about a twelve-year-old girl named Laura who runs away from home with her two older step-siblings and three younger half-siblings, because her stepfather is on drugs and abuses the children. The story continues as they struggle to live by themselves in an old shack in the middle of the forest in another town. Should I try to get this published? Let me know what you think in the comments!
There are several books that I have read and enjoyed, but the Mother-Daughter Book Club series has to be one of my biggest favourites. I can really identify with some of the characters in this series. Cassidy is funny and sarcastic, which reminds me a little of me. I want to be a writer and am a bookworm, like Emma, and I love animals and look the most like Jess (same colouring). I think Heather Vogel Frederick is a fantastic author and should continue this series. I am also writing an epilogue of the Mother-Daughter Book Club, which explains what the girls choose to do as a career and who they marry, etc.
I probably won't post much on this blog, because I don't have very much to talk about, but I will post every so often. It would also help me a lot if you guys could help me come up with some ideas for new books in the comments. Think realistic fiction and real-life characters! I also hope that my edits to the Mother-Daughter Book Club Wiki help!
